چکیده
We theoretically study the ionization enhancement of diatomic molecular ion ${\mathrm{H}}_{2}{}^{+}$ at two critical internuclear distances $R$, using orthogonal two-color laser fields. The polarization fundamental infrared field and a weak second-harmonic is parallel perpendicular to axis, respectively. It observed that adding raises slightly first peak smaller whereas it enhances second one larger $R$ significantly. further analyze observable evidence which distinguishes underlying mechanisms responsible for enhanced ${\mathrm{H}}_{2}{}^{+}$: (i) resonant excitation along with coherent interference ionizing wave packets from $1s{\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{g}$ $2p{\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{u}$ states (ii) easier up-field site molecule.

متن کاملDisentangling Intracycle Interferences in Photoelectron Momentum Distributions Using Orthogonal Two-Color Laser Fields.
We use orthogonally polarized two-color (OTC) laser pulses to separate quantum paths in the multiphoton ionization of Ar atoms. Our OTC pulses consist of 400 and 800 nm light at a relative intensity ratio of 10∶1. We find a hitherto unobserved interference in the photoelectron momentum distribution, which exhibits a strong dependence on the relative phase of the OTC pulse. Analysis of model cal...
متن کاملAttosecond pulse trains generated using two color laser fields.
We investigate the spectral and temporal structure of high harmonic emission from argon exposed to an infrared laser field and its second harmonic. For a wide range of generating conditions, trains of attosecond pulses with only one pulse per infrared cycle are generated. The synchronization necessary for producing such trains ensures that they have a stable pulse-to-pulse carrier envelope phas...
